Adult Programs
Since 1988, Crystal Creek Lodge has provided treatment to those addicted to alcohol and other drugs. Accredited by CARF, our comprehensive adult chemical dependency services include both inpatient and outpatient treatment.

Our Adult treatment services are individualized to address each client's needs and concerns. Our certified and licensed counselors provide high quality treatment in a modern and comfortable facility.

While in treatment at Crystal Creek Lodge, clients participate in individual, group and family counseling as well as receiving education in self-esteem, spirituality, vocational education, anger management, 12-step, relationships, red road to recovery, disease concept, communication skills, relapse, and decision making. Additionally, clients and

Length of stay, as with other components of a client's treatment plan, is individually determined and regularly reviewed.

Women/Pregnant Women
Here at Crystal Creek Lodge, we recognize that women, particularly pregnant women, have special needs for treatment. We customize each treatment plan to the individual woman being treated. Women are assigned a female counselor, participate in women-only counseling groups, receive pre-natal care if pregnant and can be referred to any of the following services as needed:

  • Domestic violence counseling
  • Education on childbirth
  • Parenting skills
  • Legal consultation
  • Housing counseling
  • Educational counseling
  • Mental health counseling
  • HIV/AIDS counseling

Women who are pregnant, can stay up to nine months at the treatment center and/or until their child is born.

Adolescent Programs
While Crystal Creek Lodge does not provide adolescent inpatient treatment services, it is our policy to provide immediate placement for adolescents in need of such care who have been referred to our facility. We work closely with facilities in Montana, Washington, Oregon, Utah and South Dakota for placement into inpatient programs.

At our facility, we provide outpatient and continuum of care services for adolescents. The Adolescent Outpatient program is designed to assist patients in early stage addiction, without psychological complications, which have a supportive environment to achieve the goal of abstinence from mood-altering substances or experiences.

Our Adolescent Outpatient program is nonresidential and provides clinical and educational services to clients and family members. A 12-week program assists clients with integrating skills and insights gained through therapy into daily life and an ongoing twelve step program. A minimum of two hours per week are required for each patient.

Our Adolescent Continuum of Care program assists clients returning from residential treatment in making positive modification in their lifestyle. The program includes group meetings, one-to-one counseling, relapse prevention, spirituality, traditional activities, and other relevant personal issues. Clients admitted to the continuum of care program are encouraged to attend 12-weeks of counseling.

We also provide Prevention Education Programs to local community entities and schools. We are available as speakers to local entities and schools, and coordinate services as needed to all resources in our area. We network with all local resources to maximize our delivery of services. We provide psycho-educational classes to adolescents who are diagnosed as nondependent, but are abusing alcohol and / or drugs.

Native American Services
Crystal Creek Lodge combines traditional beliefs with treatment. Clients are encouraged to participate in sweats, burning sage, smudge, and other group activities specific to their tribes.

Spiritual retreats and talking circle are a big part of this treatment. Elders are used to dialogue with clients on the various aspects of traditions, wellness and healing. Arts and crafts are also utilized at Crystal Creek Lodge.

Family Program
Because the family has an important role in treatment, Crystal Creek Lodge offers a three-day family program for all family members of all clients. Rebuilding the family is essential for ongoing recovery and relapse prevention. The purpose of our Family Program is to increase family members' knowledge about chemical dependency so family members can help break the denial and delusion that clients experience. Our goal is to help families enter a therapeutic alliance with their loved one.

There are several components to our Family Program. They are:

  • Family counseling as well as couple counseling
  • Educational activities
  • Group activities

Family members are also encouraged to participate in positive, healthy community activities such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon, ACOA, Sobriety dances, Sobriety Powwows, and spiritual functions.

Our adult Intensive Outpatient Program is nonresidential and provides clinical and educational services to clients and family members. This twelve-week program assists clients with integrating skills and insights gained through therapy into daily life and an ongoing twelve step program. A minimum of nine hours per week are required for each patient.

Continuum of care services are available to all clients. The goal of continuum of care is to assist clients in recognizing past patterns and making positive modifications of behavior, feelings, and values. We emphasize the application of what was learned during treatment to life situations as a means of maintaining sobriety and facilitating personal growth. The program is twelve weeks.

The matrix of methamphetamines is also being implemented. Relapse prevention, anger management, Driving Under the Influence (DUI), and domestic violence is part of this program.

A custom Continuum of Care program is developed for each client and includes weekly group meetings and one-to-one sessions covering a variety of topics such as Steps 6-12, relapse prevention, and personal issues. Clients are encouraged to have at least one counseling session every three weeks and one weekly group or lecture for the first six months of sobriety. These services are available to clients for an indefinite period of time.

Evening sessions are available for clients unable to attend weekday sessions.
